Biography

Andrew Hull was born about 1606 in England[1] .

He was the brother of Richard Hull, born 3 December 3 1599, died 21 August 1662 in New Haven, Connecticut.[2]

Andrew Hull married Catherine Cook before 1635 in England.[3] Catherine later married Richard Beach after the death of Andrew Hull.[1]

According to James Savage, about 1635 Andrew Hull, embarked at London for Boston in the "Hopewell," under Capt. Babb, with Catharine.[4]

1639: Resided New Haven, CT.

Andrew and Catherine had the folllowing children:

  1. Hannah bp. 4 Oct 1640[1]
  2. Sarah, bp. 4 Oct 1640[1]

Andrew Hull died about 1640 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut[1][4]

"Vpon the desire of Richard Beech, the Court mett at the Gouernors house, the 15th of December, 1654, to consider how the portions of the chilldren of Andrew Hull, Hanah and Sarah, should be paide; ..." (more)[5]
