Daniel Hull was born about 1768 in Virginia to Francis Hull and his first wife Maria Agnes Klingel. His tombstone states that he was born 2 Mar 1768. The 1854 death record in Virginia stated that he was born in 1770 in Augusta County, Virginia. A timeline on his parents stated they were in Frederick (which is now in Shenandoah) County, Virginia in 1772 and were on a tax list for Augusta County, Virginia by 1781.[1]

Daniel Hull and Barbara Summers were married about 15 Feb 1796. This may have been the date of the marriage bond.[2]

Daniel was mentioned in his father's will which was proved in March 1808 in Augusta County, Virginia.[3]

There was a Daniel Hull in the census in Augusta County, Virginia in 1810, 1820, 1830 and 1840.

Daniel died in January or February 1854. The Augusta County death record reported that widower Daniel Hull died on 14 Feb 1854 in Augusta County, Virginia.[4] and was buried in Saint Johns Reformed united Church of Christ, Middlebrook, August County, Virginia. tombstone says: In memory of Daniel Hull, born Mar 2nd 1768, died Jan 11th 1854, Aged 85 Years 2 Months and 19 Days.[5]

His will was written in 20 Apr 1848 and proved in 1854 Augusta County, Virginia Will Book 33, p 378. The will mentioned wife Mary Barbara.[6]

(He is not the Daniel Hull who married Sally Winegar in 1812 in Rockbridge County VA.)
