Biography

Very little is known about John Hull. He was not the uncle of his wife, which means that he was not the son of Samuel Hull and Margaret Hull and not the son of Margaret Mundy whom some claim was the mother of Patience Hull Williamson.

He married the widow Margaret Williamson LaRue/Larew after her husband Daniel died in 1762. She was a widow with several young children.

Margaret and John Hull were the parents of Moicah Hull who was born 3 Jun 1767 in New Jersey. Moicah was named for her second great grandmother Mayken Wyckoff Williamson. Moicah married Jacob Boughner.

John Hull wrote a will on 27 Feb 1794 stating that he resided in Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The will was proved on 8 May 1794. The will mentioned wife Margaret and grandson John Hull "Bughner". [1] Margaret's will confirmed the property that was to go to grandson John Hull Boughner.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
