Biography

Abner Hull was born on 14 March 1778 in Killingworth, New London County, Connecticut.^[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Abner Hull (1742-1802) and Hannah Hill.^[1][2][3][4]

Abner married Sarah Smith on 13 October 1802 in Killingworth.^[1][3][4]

Abner Hull died on 7 April 1860 in Le Roy, Genesee County, New York.^[1][3][4] He was buried in Stone Church Cemetery, Stone Church, Genesee County, New York. ^[5][3]

Research Notes

Some sources incorrectly show Killingworth to be in Middlesex County before May 1785. The birth place of Abner Hull in this profile has been corrected to show that Killingworth was in New London County when this event occurred. It was not until May 1785 that Middlesex County was created from portions of Hartford, New London and New Haven Counties.^[6]
