When Lela Jane Hull was born on December 21, 1895, in Quincy, Illinois, her father, Ulyses, was 31, and her mother, Rena, was 31. She had eight brothers and one sister. She married Joseph Ruspantini. She died on January 26, 1986, in her hometown at the age of 90, and was buried there.
