George died on 4 Jul 1878, aged 67, at his home in Godalming. The burial record describes him as a gentleman. He was buried on 9 Jul 1878 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section, next to his daughter Amy.

Jane died 22 Mar 1886, aged 67, at her home in Westbrook, Godalming. She was buried on 27 Mar 1886 with her husband.
