News has reached here of the demise of Mr. John Hume of Bredbo, which sad event took place on Monday, 15th Inst. Mr. Hume has been an invalid for some time and had at one time been one of the foremen of Messrs. Walker and Swan contractors of Michelago to Cooma railway. He is survived by one son and four daughters to whom we extend our sympathy.
