Biography
Martha Ann Humphreys was born in 1790 in Montgomery, Montgomeryshire, her father, Charles, was 67, and her mother, Martha, was 64. She married Christopher Rowland Richardson in 1812 in her hometown. Then spent the majority of her life in India .They had nine children in 42 years. She died on 13 January 1877 in Middlesex having lived a long life of 87 years.
Martha, the eldest daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Humphreys, was bom in 1792 and married in 1812, Christopher Richardson, a Calcutta merchant. There was one son, Col. R. C. Richardson, who had a son and a daughter, Adele, who married William Lloyd, an uncle of Dr. J. D. K. Lloyd. It was through her that he inherited the Bank House property and family letters
