After a lingering illness, the death occurred on Sunday last, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Bathurst, of Mrs. Bridget Donnelly, relict of the late Mr. James Donnelly, at the age of 77 years. She was one of the pioneers of the Bathurst district. Born at Windsor, the late Mrs. Donnelly arrived in Bathurst at a very early age, and with the exception of about 10 years at Narromine, had resided here since. She is survived by a brother, Mr. M. Humphries, of Canley Vale; five nieces, Mrs. M. J. Mockler (Bathurst), Mrs. J. Fish (Bathurst), Mrs. D. Ward (Ryde), Mrs. W. Jones (Broken Hill), and Miss Kathleen Cashman (Bathurst), and a nephew, Mr. Hilton Cashman (Sydney). Her husband predeceased her by about 12 years. The funeral cortege on Monday afternoon, which moved from the residence of Mrs. M. J. Mockler, Durham-street, for the Catholic portion of the Bathurst Cemetery, was large and representative. The prayers both at the church and graveside were read by Very Rev. Father Dunne (Adm.). — R.I.P.
