Biography

Catharina Hunsucker was born on May 26, 1781 in Lincoln, North Carolina, United States. Her parents were Johann Hunsucker and Magdalena Neff.

Catharina married twice:

  1. Her first marriage to Peter Little was in 1802. Together they had 10 children:
    1. Elizabeth Little
    2. Davolt Little
    3. Mary Little
    4. Catherine Little
    5. Lewis Little
    6. Christiana Little
    7. Jacob Little
    8. Daniel Little
    9. Sarah Little
    10. Joshua Little who was born about 5 months after the passing of his father December 13, 1820.
  2. Her second husband was Absalom Goble. Their marriage was on December 18, 1825.

Catharina passed away in Monroe, Indiana, United States. Burial was at Old Dutch Cemetery in Ellettsville, Monroe County, Indiana.[1]

Date of death was listed as June 16, 1855. However, sources list 1822 as year of death (3 years before second marriage).Sources might have typo.
