I question the wisdom of the completed merge. Even though I proposed it, I left notes regarding a "Betsey" (below), born 1767 in Weymouth to different parents.

At minimum, some clarification should be provided as to how it was concluded that "Betsey" who married F. Cushing was actually "Betty," d. of Ebenezer & Rachel.

Hunt-5447 and Hunt-1429 appear to represent the same person because:

Betsey a nickname??? : Vit recs Weymouth, v. 1, p. 146: "Betty" b. to Ebenezer and Rachel, 17 Mar 1769.

Vit recs Weymouth, v. 2, p. 99: "Betsey" marries Frederick Cushing, 14 Feb 1790 in Weymouth.

There is a Betsey b. 1767 (v. 1, p. 145). Whether "Betsey" who married F. Cushing was "Betty" the daughter of Ebenezer and Rachel, can't be determined from this source.
