Elizabeth was born about 1785.[1]
Elizabeth Hunt married James Shortt in Toem, Tipperary, Ireland on 25 Sep, 1809.[2][3]
It seems most probable that she was a second wife of James Shortt? The following deed of 1811 suggests it was witnessed by James Shortt Junior, so it would seem that would eliminate him as her spouse.
1811 - James Short of Newtown, Queens co, and Eliz Short (otherwise Hunt) daughter of late Vere Hunt decd (d. 1792)[1], his wife on one part and Vere Dawson Hunt of Cappagh on other part - re lease in 1773 and marriage Vere Hunt (Henry Hunt his father?) and Eliz Dawson - also John Short and William Short on third part - lands in Drommad, Farleedig, Tipperary to William and John and heirs and use to Vere Hunt for his life.
