Biography

Ralph Hunt, sometimes referred to as Ralph Hunt IV, was born in Hopewell, NJ in 1742.

After marrying Rachel Campbell they moved to South Carolina. They had at least seven children.

Ralph and Rachel were Quakers and their family was recorded in Quaker Meeting Records for Bush River, South Carolina. [1]


There is much confusion about the Hunt families who lived in the New York, NJ area. It has been found that Ralph Hunt born 1613 is not related to Thomas Hunt. Real research needs to be done on the Ralph Hunt 1613 line. For example, There are several Ralph Hunt profiles for the. NJ area, with various birth dates and redundant information. Some are unsourced or minimally sourced.

There were problems with both Samuels, I had to disconnect them to complete merge. I feel Samuel David had different parents, I will look for them.
