David's parents were not revealed in documentation, or family bible. Story of David coming over the mountain (believed to be reference to Monteagle, TN) to marry (Lucinda). His "brother" (not confirmed) married a widow woman with 3 girls. One of these girls is Lucinda. David's brother was some 20+ years older than David and family called him uncle John. Have not confirmed John. Lanson/Lancen Hunt and Mary Crowden with 3 girls found in 1840 Franklin County, TN Census. They married in 1841 in Franklin County, TN. In 1850 Census they appear as family, girls still named Crowden. By 1860 Census Vinny is the only daughter at home (with young children). 1860 is last census where Lance (aka John) is seen in documentation. No death information has been discovered yet for Lance.
