Ebenezer Hunt was born July 2, 1766, in Coventry, CT.[1][2]

He graduated from Yale College in 1787 and was a doctor (MD). According to the History of Tolland County, he was a physician until forced by ill-health to retire. He was succeded by his brother Dr. Eleaser Hunt. He died April 23, 1808 (about age 42). He was buried in Strong Cemetary.[3][4]

He and his family are included in the Biographies of Yale Graduates (a copy is found at the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester).
