Sarah was born about 1851, is Staffordshire , the daughter of Joseph a labourer.

She married William Shipley in 1873 in Whittington ^[1]

Sarah was a widow in 1911 living with her a son and his wifem there she states she had 10 children with 2 who had died. ^[2]

She passed away in 1916.^[3]
