Francis Hunt was born in County Durham, England.

Baptism

On 5 Oct 1804 Francis Hunt, born 30 Aug, 2nd son of John Hunt (farmer, native of Darlington, living in the parish of Gainforth) by his wife Margaret Corner (native of this parish) was baptised at Hamsterley, St James. [1]
On 28 Apr 1805 Francis Hunt, of Morton Tinmouth, born 30 Aug 1804, 2nd son of John Hunt (farmer, son of Francis Hunt, native of Hill-Close House in the parish of Darlington) by his wife Margaret Corner (daughter of John Corner, native of Fitches in the parish of Hamsterley) was baptised at Gainford, St Mary. [2]
Note: 2 baptisms for the same child. Presumably once was in his mother's home parish and then later in the parish where the family lived.
