William was born in 1833. He was christened on 13 Oct 1833 at the parish in Brockenhurst, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom. He was the son of John Hunt , a gardener, and Sarah Norford. They lived in New Park. [1]
In 1841, according to the England Census, William was 7 years old and living with his parents and 4 siblings on New Park in New Forest, Hampshire, England. [2]
