Milton was born in 1928. He was the son of Bert Hunt and Ethel Hammond.

"Milton Lee Hunt - Graveside services for Milton Lee Hunt, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Woodridge Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. David Day. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 7044, Columbia, SC 29202, or Ronald McDonald House Charities, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523 or Trinity United Methodist Church, 1132 Gunter Circle, West Columbia, SC 29169. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington will be handling the arrangements.

Mr. Hunt, widower of Nancy Jane Clary Hunt, passed away on Thursday. Born in Walhalla, SC, he was the son of the late Bert Eugene and Ethel Essie Hammond Hunt. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Men’s club. Mr. Hunt retired from Dixie Pipeline and Exxon Mobile.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth “Beth” and Chris Taylor of Lexington, daughter-in-law, Pamela Hensley of Columbia; brothers, Joe Hunt of Gaffney, Charles Hunt of Columbia; brothers-in-law, Clarence W. Morton of West Columbia, Frank DeTrapiti of New York; grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Taylor and Logan McKenzie Hunt and several step-grandchildren.

The family would like to send a special thank you to their extended family at Oakleaf Village and staff for their love, support and caring of our love one." [1]
