Biography

John was born in 1812.

Pickens County General Sessions Court March 1840 Wesley Hunt Charged with Assault & Battery.

Peters Creek Baptist Church Minute Book January 29,1848 Wesley Hunt came forward & received by experience.

September 7,1850 Wesley Hunt appointed to a commitee over the repairing of Peters Creek Meeting House. February 7,1852.

Appointed Bros John Robinson & Michael Whitmire to invite Bro Wesley Hunt to answer the charge of drunkness.

March 13,1852 Case of Wesley Hunt laid over til next meeting April 10,1852 church again took up case of Wesley Hunt for drunkness.

Sister Hunt requested church wait with her husband til next meeting May 8,1852.

Church chose Bro Thomas Looper moderator. Wesley Hunt failed to answer the charge. Wesley Hunt excluded him from the fellowship of the church.

1884 264 acres of Wesley Hunts Land sold by court of Common Pleas Deed Book G-2 page 10 to G.W. Taylor (likely had something to do with his sister's (Mary Boyd) lawsuit.
