Notes
Note NI06460Mr. David Cushing, Deacon Hunt's nephew, the brother of Mr. Simeon Cushing, was no doubt the best singer the town had ever seen.
Deacon Hunt's first wife was Susannah Bowditch, who died in 1806; she was the mother of all his children. His only daughter, Susannah, married Mr. Caleb Stetson of Braintree. He then married the widow Tirza Bates; she was the mother of Mrs. Balch Cowing, Mrs. Warren Wcston, and Joshua Bates, the noted banker of London, England. After Deacon Hunt died in 1832, Mr. Balch Cowing occupied the house until widow Hunt died in 1841.

Hunt-5726 and Hunt-5452 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same husband, same marriage date, same death date. Birthdate is different, but the date of "after 1787" is entirely consistent with the exact date in 1803. Please merge.
