Esau was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 2nd October 1825. [1] He was the son of George Hunt and Rebecca (Pain) Hunt. His father gave his occupation as labourer on the baptism register.
Marriage
Esau Hunt and Ann Tredwell were married after banns at St Peter and St Paul, Church Hanborough on 26th April 1851.[2] They were bachelor and spinster, both of full age and living in Hanborough. Esau was a labourer and Ann was a gloveress. Both stated of their father was deceased. Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were George Edwards and Ann Edwards.[3]
