Martha was born about 1890. She married Herbert Frederic Chandler in Feilding in November 1912. She passed away in 1968 in New Zealand.

At the Feilding Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Miss Martha Hunter, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs Hunter, of Granity, was married to Mr. Herbert Frederic Chandler, of Beulah, Victoria. The Rev G. Budd was the officiating minister. Miss B. Haldane, of Auckland, was the bridesmaid, and Mr. James Hunter, of Granity, was groomsman. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Andrew Hunter. Alter the ceremony the party were entertained at the wedding breakfast by the bride's sister, Mrs Groonbridge. The happy couple left for the honeymoon in the south by the Auckland express.
