Biography
John was born about 1849, the son of David Hunter and Sarah Pieffer. His marriage to Prudence could possibly not be his first marriage, based on his age. The indexed marriage record also Prudence's name as Prudence Boomer Bigney, which likely indicates her marriage to John was not her first. At this time, no earlier marriage records for either have been found.
