Biography
Ernest Hunter was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Ernest William George Hunter was born 1870, his birth registered that year in Melbourne, Victoria, the son of William Hunter and Marion Elizabeth Harley.[1]
Marriage. In 1899/1900, he married Florence Ellen Sayers, in Victoria. [2]
Death. Ernest died 28th December, 1933, aged 62 years. His death was registered the following year at Box Hill, Victoria, giving Melbourne West as his birthplace and naming his parents correctly. [3]

- DEATH
- HUNTER-On the 28th December (suddenly) at Box Hill, Ernest William, of 39 Howard street, Box Hill, the dearly beloved husband of the late Florence Hunter and loving father of Reginald and Jack aged 64 years. [4]
Burial. Following a service held 30th December, 1933, his remains were interred in the Box Hill Cemetery where he was reunited with his wife who had predeceased him in 1922. [5]
