Biography

Janet was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, on 15 October 1840. ^[1] She was the daughter of Adam Hunter and Helen Chalmers. She married James Stenhouse in Dunfermline on 27 November 1866 ^[2] She died of valvular heart disease in North Queensferry, Fife, Scotland on 13 January 1900, aged 59. ^[3]
