HUNTER.— -On April 4, at the Fremantle Hospital, James, dearly beloved husband of Ida Lillian Hunter, of 31 Moss street, East Fremantle, formerly of Kalgoorlie, loved father of Enace (Mrs. G. Casley} and James (East Fremantle), fond father-in-law of George and Evelyn, fond grandfather of Leonard and Mervyn Casley, fond brother of Mary (Mrs. Frape, Perth), Sarah (Mrs. Richardson) and Lydle (Mrs. Walker, Fremantle), Myrtle (Mrs, Carf, Perth), Ralph (Fremantle), John (Collie) and Sam (Perth). At rest.
FUNERAL NOTICE. HUNTER - The Friends of the late Mr. James Hunter, of the W.A.G. Railways, late of Kalgoorlie, and of 31 Moss-street, East Fremantle, are respectfully informed that his remains will be interred in the Wesleyan portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery. The Funeral is appointed to leave his late residence, 31 Moss-streey, East Fremantle, THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 3.30 o'clock. Connecting trains leave Perth at at 3.45 o'clock and Fremantle at 3.30 o'clock.
OBITUARY. The Late Mr. J. Hunter. The funeral of the late Mr. James Hunter of 31 Moss-street, East Premantle, took place in the Wesleyan portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery on April 6. The Rev. Canon E. M. Collick officiated at the graveside. The late Mr. Hunter was born in Adelaide. South Australia, in 1882 and came to this State 11 years later. He was for many years in Kalgoorlie. where he was well known and respected. He Joined the W.A.O. Railways 40 years ago and at the time of his death was an engine driver in Fremantle. During the war Mr. Hunter served as a corporal in the A.I.F., 15 Coy. A.R.O.D. and on his return continued his duties with the W.A.G.R. He was held in high esteem by his workmates and had gathered around him a large circle of friends. He leaves a widow, son and daughter to mourn their loss.
