Biography

Maria Chloe Hunting, born 19 April 1824 at Clintonville, New York, was a daughter of Ezekiel and Rebecca (Breed) Hunting ^[1].

She married 1st William Read, Feb. 28, 1844 (per Breed genealogy), possibly at Eastham, Massachusetts.

She married 2nd George Redfield (1809-1867), 17 Mar 1859 ^[2], as his second wife.

The 1860 U.S. census of Ottawa County, Michigan, enumerated the combined Redfield family, including Chloe's infant son Arthur Redfield ^[3].

Chloe Maria (Hunting) (Read) Redfield died 10 Sep 1906 in Westfield, New York. Her grave is in Evergreen Cemetery, Henderson, Jefferson County, New York, USA ^[4].
