Sarah de Huntingfield was the daughter of Magna Carta surety baron William de Huntingfield, Knt., of Huntingfield, Suffolk, and Isabel Fitz William.[1] Sarah's date of birth is unknown and is estimated based on the date of her parents marriage, around 1194.
After 11 December 1213, she married first William Biset, son and heir of Henry Biset by an unknown first wife. They had no issue and William died before 1 November 1220.[1]
She married second Richard de Keynes, son and heir of William de Keynes and Gunnor, after 1221 (when she was in the king's gift) but before Hilary 1223 (date of lawsuit).[1] They had two sons and one unnamed daughter:[2]
William, minor at father's death, died after 1241[1]
Richard de Keynes, born about 1228, died before 1295, married Alice de Mankesey and had issue.[1]
In Hilary term 1223, Iseult Pantolf and her husband, Amaury de Saint Amand, were involved in a legal action concerning dower in the vill of Kidderminster, Worcestershire against her former daughter-in-law, Sarah de Huntingfield, widow of Iseult's step-son, William Biset, and then wife of Richard de Keynes.[1]
Sarah de Huntingfield was living in 1226-1228. Her husband, Richard, died in 1241.[1]
