Biography

Sixth Son of John & Civil (Tracy) Huntington, born Dec 30 1746[1]

William Married Mary Cottler in Griswald CT February 15 1770 at the First Congregational Church[2]

The couple is said to have had 8 children, 4 of whom died in the same plague. [1] [A reliable source is needed.]

1. William, born December 6, 1770, and died in 1791.
2. Mary, born February 10 1772, married Samuel Fuller, Jr., in 1799, and died in 1814.
3. Eunice, born in 1774, married Dr. B. Leonard of Ashford, Conn.
4. Sarah, born in 1776, and died in 1790.
5. Clarissa, born in 1778, and died in 1790.
6. Caleb, born in 1780, and died in 1790.
7. Alisthena, born in 1783.
8. Elisha, born in 1784, and died in 1790.

William died March 8, 1814 [3] and is buried in Chaplin, CT[4]
