• Whitman was born in 1763. He was the son of Abner Huntington and Mary Wightman. He passed away in 1847.

• Whitman Huntington, born 12 July 1763; died 5 November 1847 in New Haven, Vermont; married Susan Clark, born 24 August 1768; died 4 March 1837, in New Haven. The graves of both are in River Cemetery, New Haven, Vermont.

• Parents: Abner Huntington 1726 - 1816 and Mary (Wightman) Huntington 1729 - 1816. They were married 11/14/1749 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut.
