David Hough (13 Mar 1753 CT - 18 Apr 1831 NH) in June 1775, md Abigail HUNTINGTON (5 Jan 1753 Norwich, CT - 1838 NH), dau of James and Elizabeth (DARBY) HUNTINGTON. David served during the Rev. War in Ira Allen's Regt of VT Militia and as a pvt in Herlick's Regt of VT Militia. Abigail's application for pension was rejected because David's service was not under military obligation. They moved to NH about 1778, and David served in the state legislature and as a member of Congress.
