Hi Joseph - added a few sources for your Duncan/Hess folks. Family Search info looks like there may be more for Elihu.

Hey Joseph,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Questions? Ask via my profile page. Mags

Hi! I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details. - Alison :-)

Welcome to Wiki. I also have quite a bit of Duncan Info. Mostly comes from Mary Ann Dobson (The Genealogy Bug) documented and sourced. If you should need any help, please feel free to contact me.

Joseph--My information on the KAAR line is all from Chambers' book "Early Germans of New Jersey." According to him, George KAAR (1817-1887) married Eliza SHARP (1821-1880), the eldest sister of my great-great-grandfather, Morris T. SHARP. I did not include all of the KAAR children in my FTM file, just those directly connected to my SHARP line. Ginny

Thanks

Hi Joseph

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

You might also like to read the discussions tagged as GEDCOM in the G2G forum.

Happy WikiTreeing,

Maryann

Joseph,

Regarding your post on John Huntley's (Huntley-137) page:

Are you implying that John is a descendant of Richard, Duke of Normandy? Because his line ends with his father here on WikiTree. If he is, you should explain how and why you think so. If he is not, you may want to remove the comment, as it is not relevant to the person who's page you wrote it on.

Thank you,

Steve Moray (10th great grandson of John Huntley)

Joseph,

Welcome to Wikitree. There are a host of Huntley profiles on Wikitree. If your line is in the US, almost certainly you are a descendant of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Huntley-137 If you need some help making some of the earlier connections, just ask. Phil
