Alfred was born in 1837 in Chautauqua County, New York. He was the son of Ezra Huntley and Philena Howard. [1]

In 1860 he lived with his family in Wisconsin. [2]

In 1861 he enlisted to serve in the Civil War with the Wisconsin 16th Infantry Regiment. He mustered out June 22, 1862. [3][4][5][6][7]

He married Hannah Peabody (Blackmore) in 1874. [8]

Alfred passed away in 1922. [9]
