Merritt Huntley, son of Frederick, was born March 1785 in Cornwallis Square, Kings County, Nova Scotia.[1][2]
He married (1) at Machias, Maine, 14 Aug 1815, Anna Demmons of Plantation #13,

who died before 14 Jul 1823,[1]
when he married (2) at Machias, Martha Holmes[4]
of Cutler, Maine, daughter of John and Keziah (Nash) Holmes.[1]
Merritt died in North Cutler, Washinton County, Maine on 22 Feb. 1858 and was buried at the Cutler Cemetry, Cutler, Maine.[1] His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of some of his family.[2]
