death notice in Cato newspaper c. 1938:
Homer Huntley, 83, died in the Barber Hospital at Lyons Saturday of heart and kidney trouble. He had been a native of this vicinity, the son of Timothy and Esther Huntley of Huron. He was taken to the Barber Hospital but a few days before his death. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Sherman Hnntley three daughters, Mrs. Louise Deacon and Mrs. Alice Pettinger of Wolcott and Mrs. Esther Frfanan? of Lawton, Okla. Funeral services were held at the Bush- Robertson funeral parlors Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with burial in Huron Evergreen cemetery.
