Biography

Aaron Huntley, son of Samuel Huntley and Ruth (Huntley) Huntley, was born on 4 Nov. 1752 at Lyme, New London, Connecticut. [1]

He married Rachel Huntley, his third cousin and daughter of Benejah Huntley and Esther (Howell) Huntley .[1]

He enlisted as a Private in Capt. Samuel Canfield's Company, Col. Benj. Bellow's New Hampshire Regiment on 28 June 1777 to reinforce the garrison at Fort Ticonderoga Highest, discharged 5 July, 8 days service.[1]

Aaron died on February 18, 1818 in Antrim, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire and was buried at West End Cemetery, Marlow, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.[1] His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[2]
