He passed away in 2013 and is buried at the Park Street section of the Lincoln Cemetery Lincoln, Maine.[3]

Clyde M. Hurd
LINCOLN - Clyde M. Hurd, 90, passed away Aug. 14, 2013 at a Lincoln health care facility. He was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Enfield, the son of Irving and Inez (Whittier) Hurd.
He was educated in Enfield and Lincoln schools, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Myra Fleming, Oct. 18, 1947, and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. He worked as a machine tender at Lincoln Pulp & Paper for many years and retired from there. Clyde enjoyed the simple things in life. He and Myra enjoyed going for rides in the country and traveling throughout Maine. He enjoyed being at camp on Cambolasse Pond. He built the camp himself, as he did his own home. He enjoyed his pets and tending his garden.
He is survived by three children, Garland Hurd, Carroll Hurd and his wife, Karen, and Dawn and her husband, Brent Lyons; two grandchildren, Carrie and her husband, Clay Enos, and Christopher Hurd and his wife, Kristin; three great-grandchildren, Elodie and Emmeline Enos and Kylie Hurd; three “special grandchildren,” Kristopher, Suzanne, and Ashlee Lowell; and a special niece, LeeAnn Rowell; three brothers-in-law, George Fleming, LeRoy Fleming and his wife, Carol, and Barney Morrison and his wife, Joyce. In addition to his wife and his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Beverly Morrison and Mary Etta Rosebush.
