Peter Stevens married, first, Mary Hurd, daughter of Nathan, in Trumbull on 31 Mar 1757.[2][3][4]
Mary died before 1762, possibly as early as 1759 as she seems to have borne only one child.
Peter Stevens and his first wife Mary had, in Trumbull:[2]
Sarah, b. in Dec 1758, bp. 1 Jan 1759. In 1779 Sarah conveyed land in Fairfield, the Jackson's Long Lot, that she had inherited from her grandfather Peter Stevens.[5]
