Lillian Hurlburt, daughter of Ansel and Jane E. (Pelton) Hurlbut, was born in 1861 in Connecticut.[1] She appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Orange, New Haven County, Connecticut.[2]
She married John Summerfield Gilbert, son of Elias Mix Gilbert, [1]
Lillian died on 30 Oct. 1925 at Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon and was buried at Plot: Sec 106 O, Lot 11, Grave 2, River View Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Her memorial has a transcription of her obituary that identifies her brother Joseph in New Haven, a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
