Biography

When Sophia Virginia Jennie Olin Hurley and her twin brother Elias Oscar Lee (see 1880 Census) were born on September 20, 1867, in Montgomery, North Carolina, USA, their father, James, was 25 and their mother, Melissa, was 40. She married Robert Milton Stevenson on May 20, 1887. They had eight children in 17 years. She died on February 10, 1952, at the age of 84, and was buried in Junction, Texas, USA. Siblings include: George Freeman Hurley, Milton Moses Hurley, Oscar Lee Hurley, Melissa Hurley Morris. Sophia Virginia and Robert Milton Steveson had 8 children together.
