puzzle this out - lists his same parents, residence as Fort Wayne, but also claims to be a first marriage.. Also Helen’s death record has her noted as divorced [2]. His death record says he was a widower [2] "Ohio, County Marriages, 1789-2013," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K81Y-DSL : 26 August 2019), Roger H Hurst and Mary Catherine Heiser, 01 Oct 1951; citing Marriage, Henry, Ohio, United States, , Franklin County Genealogical & Historical Society, Columbus; FHL microfilm. No need for military research - his death record noted he was never in Armed Services.
