Biography
BONNE TERRE — Donna J. (Huskey) Stewart of Bonne Terre passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 56 years. She was born September 5, 1951in De Soto to Robert and Charlene (Lucas) Huskey of Bonne Terre, who survives. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, April Wagner.
Donna was a longtime faithful member of Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church, Bonne Terre where she played piano. She enjoyed Sewing, Cooking and Reading.
On April 11, 1969, she was united in marriage to George ‘Stu’ Stewart who survives. She is also survived by her Children, Stephanie (Mrs. John) Wagner of Knoxville, TN and Tracy (Mrs. David) Hawkins of Bonne Terre; Eight Grandchildren, Alex, Victoria, Nick, Jack, Luke, Elizabeth, Audrey and Johnny; Three Sisters, Terry (Mrs. Mike) Carrow, Nancy (Fiance, Terry Cole) Basler and Carla (Mrs. Tyson) Rutledge, all of Bonne Terre, and Three Brothers, Mike (wife, Anita) Huskey of Richwoods, Tim (wife, Angel) Huskey and Dennis (wife, Kris) Huskey, both of Bonne Terre. Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, her church family and many dear friends who survive.
Family to receive friends from 4-8 p.m., today, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church, 7422 Stormy Lane, Bonne Terre. Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Allison officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to St. Francois County Relay for Life Cancer Fund appreciated. Family served by Shearin Funeral Home, Bonne Terre.
