William Mack Hussey was born in Vienna, Maries County, Missouri on January 7, 1869. He was the son of Minerva Ellen Pankey and James H. Hussey.
William married Lillie May Carroll on September 17, 1896 in Maries County at the home of John Carroll, Lillie's father, by T.B. Elrod, MG.[1][2]
1900 Census - Jackson Township, Maries County, Missouri William Hussey is shown as head of household at age 22 in the 1900 Census, for Jackson Township, Maries County, Missouri, living with his wife Lilly Hussey age 22, and thier children Leona Hussey age 1 and Cleveland Hussey just 2 months of age.[3]
1920 Census - Bishop Ave, Rolla, Phelps Co., MO In the 1920 census for Rolla, Phelps County, Missouri, William Hussey is shown as head of household at age 47, living on Bishop Avenue with wife Lillie Hussey age 41, with children, Cleveland Hussey age 19, Lincoln Hussey age 6, Frank Hussey age 16, Jesse Hussey age 12, Joe Hussey age 9, and the family of his daughter and son-in-law, Leona Crum age 22 and David Crum age 26, with their daughter Buelah Crum age 1 (granddaughter to William and Lillie Hussey). Also living with them in the household was William's father James Hussey age 72. William Hussey is shown working as a blacksmith, owning a blacksmith shop with their son Frank, who was also a blacksmith. Also shown working in the blacksmith shop was William and Lillie's son Cleveland and their son-in-law David Crum, both as machinist's.[4]
1930 Census - Meremec Township, Crawford County, Missouri In 1930, at the age of 57, William and wife Lillie, age 43, lived in the Meremac Township of Crawford County, Missouri with their sons Cleat age 29, Jesse age 28, Joe age 22, and Lincoln age 17.[5]
William Mack Hussey passed away from Cardiac Decompensation and Arteriosclerosis on December 31, 1948 at his home on Star Route in Edgar Springs, Phelps County, Missouri.[6]
He was buried on January 3, 1949 in Vienna Public Cemetery in Vienna, Maries County, Missouri.[7]

William M. Hussey Passes Away Here
Funeral services for William Mack Hussey, who passed away at his home here Friday, Dec. 31, were held Monday afternoon, at the Null and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. W. Jeffries officiating. Mr. Hussey would have been 80 years old this week, having been born Jan. 7, 1869, in Maries County. He is survived by five sons, Cleat, Jesse, Joe and Lincoln of Rolla and Frank of St. James, one daughter, Mrs. Dave Crum of Rolla, and a large number of grandchildren. He had lived in Phelps County for the past 35 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. His wife passed away in 1939. Burial was at Vienna, under the direction of Null and Sons.
