Ira Albert Hutchings was appointed Postmaster at the Russellville Post Office in Sept. 24, 1903. He is shown in the 1900 Census as working as a Surveyor, by 1910 he is divorced and is now a salesman. By the 1920 Census report he was married to Josephine Olea Rache and is a manager at a canning factory. The 1930 Census report shows him being 59 years old, no longer working but he owned an expensive (by the standards of that time period) home, $35,000. He also has his grandson William Earl Hutchings living with him in 1930.
