Biography

Hannah Plummer Hutchings was born on 22 April 1792 in Boothbay, Maine. Her parents were Benjamin Hutchings and Abigail (Tibbetts) Hutchings^[1].

She married William Reed on 23 August 1809 in Boothbay^[2]. They had eight children^[3]:

1. Sally Stevens, born 25 Apr 1810

2. William, born 11 Oct 1811; married Hannah C. Hall

3. Abigail, born 30 May 1813

4. Joseph, born 10 Jun 1815

5. Benjamin, born 13 Jul 1816

6. Elbridge, born 11 Jan 1819; married Susan Randall

8. Bradford, born 21 Mar 1827

William and Hannah moved to Vassalboro, Maine in 1835, and Hannah passed away there on 24 January 1852^[3].
