Death certificate from the Broome County Poor Farm indicates Alice died of Heart disease at 3 Clarence St, Binghamton, her last residence. E.D. Hutchings, owner of this home, paid her funeral expenses (Dibble funeral home records 1-17). She is in their records as Alice D. Laurence.
Binghamton City directories show Alice was a nurse boarding at 3 Clarence. Edwin D. Hutchings, box maker, owns the home. She is not listed in 1895, is there in 1896 and 1897. If Edwin was her father, she had a mother, Ada, two sisters and two brothers. I don't know why she was burried in New Milford or was listed on the Poor Farm records
