Rebecca Jane Hutchinson was born on 29 Jun 1827 in Union, Monroe Co., VA. Her parents were Charles Hutchinson (25 Jan 1795 –1867 • L6WC-WJL) and Mary Elizabeth Ellison (19 Apr 1802 –1870 • LCC5-V67). Her parent married in1821 in Monroe, West Virginia, United States

Rebecca (21) married Achilles M. McGinnis (23) on 29 Apr 1849 in Fayette County, Virginia.
