Biography

Julia Etta Hutchinson was born October 24, 1860 at Morris, Ill.

She was married March 14, 1876. Eight children were born to this union. Of these five survive their mother. They are Oliver of Fargo, North Dakota; Mrs. Lotta Ives of Pateros, Wash.; Frank of Seattle, Wash.; Harry of Minot, North Dakota and Clinton of Minneapolis; three sons, Orlen, Roy and Arthur, preceded her in death. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Frank of Seattle; Grant of Havana, Cuba; Rollow of Nelson, Neb; Cyrus of Hastings, Minn., and Ella of Hollywood, Calif.

Mrs. Heilman spent most of her life on the farm near Glenville where all of their children but one were born. After the death of her husband she spent her remaining years in N. D, Ill., and Wash. Death claimed her at Hoquiam, Wash. Dec. 14, 1927 at the age of 67 years 1 month and 29 days. She was a member of the Christian Church which she and her husband joined early in the married life. Later she worked in various churches, as the church of her faith did not always have an organization in the town where she happened to be living. She was an active member in the United Brethren Church of Glenville for a number of years.

She was of a sympathetic nature and always willing to help those in need. When help was needed in sickness or sorrow she was always present. She was a loving wife and mother and a helpful neighbor.

The body was sent here for burial and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon form the United Brethren Church.
