DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
P.S. Several undocumented ancestry.com trees (Probably more than several) show some children of Raleigh Duncan "Rawley" Stallard, Jr. as children of Rawley, Sr. These children were born after the death of Mary Elizabeth with non-Mary E. fore names. Is this what triggered your question? Quite frankly I tend to fasten my chastity belt when considering use of anything (other than valid data sources) from any Ancestry tree.
I can find nothing that says Raleigh was married 2X to two different Hutchinsons - nor anything that says he wasn't. All non-Ancestry.com BIO except their ages appears to be based on their kids recollections. Pre-1850 census' give approximate ages; 1850 census gives Rawley's age & docum their marriage & wife's death between 1840/50. 1792 marriage yr appears to be inferred from birth of oldest child; Family lore says Rawly & wife buried in Stallard-Moore Cem. in Dungannon, Scott Co, VA. All children cite Rawley & Mary Elizabeth as parents. BOTTOM LINE: No documentation; Circumstantial evidence & gut judgement says Raleigh/Rawley only married once.
OK thanks. (Thought already rejected - email to other PM) Could you take a look here and see if you can determine/find anything that says Raleigh was married 2X to two different Hutchinsons then profile post the source to avoid future questions or make necessary fix to correct spouse area. Thanks very much for your help.
Hutchinson-1050 and Hutchinson-985 do not represent the same person because: Different forenames, birth dates, birth locations, death dates, death locations, fathers and mothers. No similarity whatsoever!
Hutchinson-1050 and Hutchinson-985 appear to represent the same person because: Name should be Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson - Duplicate from previous merges.
